Backgrounds

We havent all got a space suitable for filming content. Sometimes real backgrounds are cluttered, untidy or just unsuitable for use. Often backgrounds are used to hide the reality of what is hiding behind them. There is a vast assortment of photographic backgrounds to choose from including pictures, colours or patterns and they range in price too.

Plain solid colour backgrounds.

Two of the most popular background colours are black and white.  The black give a simplistic backdrop which makes the subject stand out.  The brand Apple used white plain backgrounds in their marketing for many years as it’s simplistic, clean and neutral.

PROS:  Easy to assemble, clean, simple and easy to light.

CONS:  Tired.  Have been a safe option for many content creators.

Gradient backdrops

If you don’t have lots of lighting available to create a unique background then gradient backgrounds can be a god option to choose from.  We have selected a couple of backdrops which look great on video.

PROS:  Unique and stylish.

CONS:  These backgrounds tend to be restricted in sizes so ensure it makes your requirements beforehand.
